Autumn Equinox ䷓ Observing
Equal day and night, balanced yin and yang, the autumn equinox is a crucial point of change where the yin takes centre stage as the yang fades. A time of reflection and contemplation seen in the associated hexagram 20 ䷓ Observing guan 觀. Season of metal, season of the lungs, autumn is a transition between the light of summer and the deep dark of winter. Lung, kidney and stomach points are all active to support us at this vulnerable time of year.
